Chinese insolence knows no bounds (20-07-08)

It is not known who is the pioneer of the word “decorum” and the egression of the associated manners. Well, whoever the person was he must had been a suave person in his own times and for that he felt the need of the same in both national and international sectors. It should also be stated that this very word, till date, is blended with the aroma of British aristocracy, that has been regarded in the global sector as the yardstick of courtesy. However this very aspect is certainly missing in the Chinese conduct and especially the way it snubbed the presence of the Indian premier and instead invited UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi to the opening ceremony of Olympics.

There is no doubt that this is a national disgrace and also indicates that China, as a nation, is quite uncomfortable with the rigid stand of the Indian government re Indo-US nuclear deal. It is true at the same time, that hitherto there have been congenial approaches from the Government of China over the deal. This has made the impulsive and the poltroon Indian leadership, oftentimes, to value the Chinese warmth in great esteem, even though the Chinese Army has been transgressing the Indian land regularly. India has, as usual, carrying forward the banner of noble pacifism has preferred to remain silent. But to the sources transgressions are a routine affair" in which the PLA personnel violate India's perception of the 4,057-km long Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China.

All these, clubbed with the recent audacious attitude indicate China considers emerging India as a greater threat than anything else. For which it has tried to exhibit its courage by rebuffing the dignity of the Prime Minister.

Though they are trying to prove their innocence but this is a classic example of the arrogance and imperialistic posture of China under the garb of Communism.

India needs to be more careful than ever before.
